CS-113: SERVICE ROBOT ARM
The Sciento Robot Training Arm CS-113 ("the robot arm") is a system designed to support the simulate the activities of an industrial robot. The robot arm can be used independently in the two TEST modes, controlled with a microcontroller or computer and operated directly with the Sciento Teach Pendant CS-113 control computer. The robot arm is made of sheet steel and is provided with a sturdy base that also includes the control electronics is included. The control electronics consist of a Z80 microprocessor with a ROM in which a basic instruction set is included. The robot arm has a parallel port over which the instructions can be given. The robot arm has two buttons and two LEDs on the front. The buttons have the RESET function (emergency stop) and TEST, the LEDs indicate that the supply voltage is present (green) or that an error situation has occurred (red). The robot arm is provided with a separate mains supply that has the required 5 and 12 volt supply voltages supplies. The mains supply is suitable for 110 volts and 220 volts AC.
Warnings 1. make sure the power supply is set to 220 volts; 2. Do not move the various parts of the robot arm manually. This can damage it drive mechanism; 3. make sure that the movements of the robot arm are not impeded. Blocking the movements of the robot arm can result in damage to the drive mechanism; 4. Stay away from the moving parts of the robot arm during use to avoid injury appearance; 5. place the robot arm on a solid surface; 6. Avoid exposing the robot arm to strong vibrations, dust, high humidity; 7. Do not obstruct the air supply to the base of the robot arm to prevent overheating control electronics.
